The Greater Moncton International Airport has a new member of their snow removal team. In the fall of 2006, an M-B 3614 TOWGA Runway Sweeper was delivered to the Greater Moncton International Airport. This 300HP “Pure Performance” high-speed hydraulic sweeper will keep the airport runway in top condition.
Chris Farmer, Director of Operations at the airport commented recently, “The sweeper consistently performed throughout the duration of our most recent snow event. We are extremely pleased with this addition to our equipment fleet.”
The ability of this unit to move a lot of snow while providing for a cleaner runway surface will enable the airport team to provide the service required to handle an increasing number of flights each day.
“We rely on our equipment to get the job done right, and so far, the M-B broom is living up to our high expectations” says Farmer.
